The 65th Korea Independence Day(Liberation Day of Korea)




Korea was under Japanese rule as part of Japan's 35-year imperialist expansion . Japanese rule formally ended on 2 September 1945 upon the Japanese defeat in World War II that year.

Today is the 65th Korea Indepence Day.(Liberation Day of Korea)which is the Public Holiday.
President and other people attendance that takes place at the Gwanghwamun Square,because reinstatement of Gwanghwa mun(Gwanghwa door) was finished.
 Many activities and events happen during the day, including an official ceremony.


Gwangbokjeol, (literally "Restoration of Light Day",)
'Gwangbok(Restoration of light) means restored light.



This is Song of Gwangbokjeol.(Song of Liberation Korea.)

[Korean Indepence Activists]


Kim Gu (also known by his pen name Baekbeom, August 29, 1876 – June 26, 1949), the sixth and later the last president of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea, was a Korean politician, educator, leader of Korean independence movement against the Japanese occupation of Korea that lasted from 1910 to 1945, and reunification activist who had struggled for the independent reunification of Korea since its national division in 1945





Ahn Jung-geun or An Jung-geun (September 2, 1879 - March 26, 1910) (was a Korean independence activist,nationalist, and pan-Asianist.

On October 16, 1909, he assassinated Itō Hirobumi (伊藤博文), the first Prime Minister of Japan and then-Japanese Resident-General of Korea, following the signing of the Eulsa Treaty, with Korea on the verge of annexation by Japan.







Lee Bong-chang (August 10, 1900 - October 10, 1932) was a Korean independence activist during the Japanese occupation of Korea. In 1932, he attempted unsuccessfully to assassinate Japanese emperor Hirohito with a hand grenade, which became known as the Sakuradamon Incident.





Yu Gwan-Sun (December 16, 1902 – October 12, 1920) was a student and organizer in what would come to be known as the March 1st Movement against the Japanese occupation of Korea in South Chungcheong
There, along with her family, she began to arouse public feeling against the Japanese occupation. She also planned a demonstration for independence, which included people from some neighboring towns, Yeongi, Chungju, and Jincheon. The demonstration was scheduled to start on the first lunar day of March 1919 at 9:00 a.m. in Awunae Marketplace. About 2,000 demonstrators shouted, "대한 독립 만세" (Daehan Dongnip Manse), which translates to "Long live Korean Independence!" Yu was arrested with other demonstrators.

Republic of Korea soccer team's charity game


Today, Korea soccer team's charity game for multi-culture familes.
There was a soccer match between Republic of Korean team and Ansan Hallelujah team.
There were many people packed house.
He is a Jisung Park who is weraring suit and tie.
He was a one-day coach ,because he was hurted leg and Jung mu quit as soccer team coach.


While Jisung Park interviewiew,Ki Sung-Yong appeared!
Two guies are soooooooooo cute~


Socre was 3:1, Republic of Korea team won!
